Kuno, I'm sure you'll like this one better!

Hello!

Kuno...I found a place here in Ireland to post a picture...recall this is one you took of us overlooking Lake Lucerne! Thank you once again for your professional tour guide and shuttle services. We would probably still be in Zurich without your kind assistance. Frox, thanks to you as well!

I'll post other pictures when we return.

Geoff and Venus travelling - part II

the picture doesn't want to show up. Maybe the blogmaster can handle this.

Kuno

Geoff and Venus - travelling

They made it - destination Schweiz - Switzerland has been reached.

So we finally met in person. Hey - this guy really looks a little like a Scheuber!

With train to Lucerne - fantastic weather, blossoms and blooming everywhere, warm, thousands of people along the lake, great hotel (good pick, Venus! ;-)).

After hanging out with Venus and Geoff and try to keeping them awake, they headed for Stans to catch up with Maggie and see the Rotzberg etc.

We'll see us Wednesday.... hope you enjoy your stay here!

And always be serious!!! (just kidding...)

Venus and Geoff arriving in Lucerne. These people are tough: smiling after 15 hours or so of flight and one hour train. But watch Mount Pilatus in the background - this could be a reason. Or the photographer....

EASTER GREETINGS!

Hello Everyone,

Our best wishes to you all you a beautiful and blessed Easter!

The E.P. Scheubers celebrated our traditional Easter with an egg hunt and festivities last weekend at the Leahy's.  Our celebration was a bit early this year as mom and dad, and Steve and Melissa are leaving for Pismo Beach today with their travel trailers.  We are also getting away for Easter Vacation (since it coincided with the end of tax season this year -- yeah!) and will be visiting the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks.  We're very excited to be traveling to these locations, and even more excited to be reunited again as a family after these very busy months for Jeff.

We hope all is well with each of you and your families.

Our love,
The Colemans

quick trip

When returning from Reno and checking email, I found that my last post had failed so reposted the same message which now looks as if we are just leaving.  Had a safe trip driving through the beautiful snowy covered mountains to and from.  We enjoyed the golfing, gambling, and the convention, especially the comment from a Danish wife referring to her husband, " You can tell a Dane, but you can't tell him much." We attended the David Cassidy show and were immediately reminded of our age as we viewed the hundreds of women in their 40's screaming and throwing flowers and presents at their teenage idol. He told them at his age cleevage was good and thanked them for their participation. Stopped in Rocklin to visit the Peffermans.  John was quite thrilled when Callie kept calling him papa and wanting him to hold her, until she pointed to an old man on tv and said, "Papa!"   Now we are back to a normal week and looking forward to seeing Benjamin.  Hope all is well with all our Scheuber/Duarte family.

checking in

John and I enjoyed the Long Beach pictures.  Happy 70th to
sister-in-law Marge!!  Bet she was happy to celebrate with her children and
grandchildren.  The question is:  What was so interesting that captured Marge
& Leo's attention upward?  John and I both commented on how cute
Mckenzee looks--she has grown such since we saw her last.  At first I
couldn't figure who that pretty young red-headed lady was, but it became clear
that it was Erin.

Some of us old folks that were able, made it to Jennie's graduation
celebration!  We had a great time.  Ben especially enjoyed himself as he
eagerly chummed up to Jennie and her boyfriend and some computer whiz (
I hate the term geek) that gave him some interesting tips and shared
some info on his laptop.   Dave is also a favorite with Ben since he can
offer him advice on filming.

We are off to Reno for 5 days to attend a Danish convention.  Playing
in a golf tournament on Thurs.  Hopefully the weather will cooperate.
Thanks all for keeping us informed.
