Interesting analysis of yours… But no, there was no reason to pace, no reason to worry, and no reason to get a new couch. Actually I wasn’t even sitting on the couch at the time. I was quietly sitting at the desk in the den watching the events unfold.

Mind you we did have the couch scotch-guarded in the event the Giants make it back to the World Series at some point in my lifetime. Although after the 2002 events, not sure if scotch guard would have helped.
