Fat Cat News
Upon returning from my cruise it took some catching up on the Modesto Bee newspapers.
Just wanted to note that our nephew 'cousin Jeff Duarte's Fat Cat made the Favorite Night Spot in the Modesto Bee Readers' Choice Awards again this year. Not that he has too much competition!! Paladium Night Club got 2nd place. (where that is I haven't a clue)
Also as I was watching Nancy Grace last night on Court TV she got in another dig about our nephew /cousin Mike C. A lady called into the show asking her why none of the witnesses that thought they saw Laci Peterson on the day she disappeared were never called to testify. Nancy Grace laughed commenting that they were not reliable witnesses and added. " I even interviewed a witness there that claimed he saw her, and he even had a glass eye." I take offense to that--her insinuations that one cannot be a credible witness with a glass eye. Well, that is typical of Nancy Grace. Incidentally she was in Modesto yesterday walking down Covena Ave and down to the park as she was interviewing a neighbor. She talked about the lovely neighbor ( no transients around at all )and that she would like to move there. Watch out Mike C!!
