Rocking in Rocklin

Returning from Rocklin where I helped Heidi with the 3 girls while Ted was in Colorado,  I was pleased to see the addidtions to the Scheuber News.  Wow!  Aga is already making her mark at Merced College slamming Stan State.  Great pitching and batting!!  Looks like Aga and little Lauren are no girly girls.  Way to go Scheuber Stars!!!  Well, it looks like little 2 yr old Riley has some big shoes to fill.  She is such a  fan -loving to sport her favorite Oakland A's shirt and cheering and clapping for the team.   She was a star the day she made the big screen at a Oakland A's game this season.

So glad that we may be hearing from Karyn soon and hear all about her remodeled home and catch up on their family news.

So enjoyed hearing about the Coleman wedding and how the Jeff/Lori Coleman family was so involved with kids participating and even Grandma Mary Jane.  Must have been such a memorable day for all of you.

Saturday was Sydney's 4th birthday.  All of the JRS's were there except Benjamin (his dad's weekend)  Ted's parents and his sister and family were there also.  There were 7 little girls in total.  Matt and Zac were kept occupied with Ted's technical toys in the Great Room.  I can't pay enough compliments to Ted's interior decorating of his Great Room.  Before you enter the room you see the red/gold wooden sign announcing "Theatre" above and gold drapes adorning the entrance.  He has built a wooden stage at one end of the room and a full mirrored wall at the other end.  The stage is covered with dark red velvet drapes that pull back for the girls to do their entertaining. The background wall behind the drapes is painted a midnight blue and decorated with large  glittery stars.  Underneath the top of the curtains is a 10ft pull down screen for showing wide screen movies or playing xbox etc.  On the other walls are large movie posters (Shrek etc) that he has framed to match the decor of the room.  He has gold comedy/tragedy faces on each side of the windows and gold candle holders. He purchased off white leather sofas that sit behind a beautiful midnight blue/gold and dark red design area carpet.  Everyone ohs and ahs when they enter the room.  Needless to say the girls had to entertain us with their dancing on the stage.

I had a great 5 days at Heidi's place spending time with my girls. Getting to rock and cuddle little Callie was a highlight of my trip.  So enjoyed attending ballet and tap classes and shopping with all of them.

So glad to be home in one piece.  Last time I was at Heidi's I cracked my rib coming down the hill on Haley's scooter as she and I slammed into a curb.  This time the girls were jumping on my blow bed and proceeding to tilt it up in the air. As I ran over to help them the motor fell on my head causing me to rush to the fridge for a bag of frozen peas.

THINGS WERE ROCKING IN ROCKLIN
