tidbits

Enjoyed catching up on the Scheuber news.  Congratulations to the Blue Lightning Soccer Stars!  What an exciting time for all of you!   Way to go Lauren!!  You guys are really fired up down there!

We have returned from our Caribbean Cruise having a great time being treating royally with a suite to enjoy are stay on the Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the Seas. ( Thanks to the VSI sales team that earned the points by selling all the Farnum horse products.)  It was great to see the young couples from other VSI branches who had never been on a cruise throrougly enjoing themselves.

While we were gone Taylor came home from the hospital to finally join her family. She made her first trip here  to Grandma and Grandpa's house yesterday.  Sandi was here to hold her new little niece along with the rest of us.  Sandi got moved to San Mateo a few weeks ago and is now happy to be 10 min from work.  She and I joined her realtor yesterday touring homes for a few hours.  She is looking for another home to purchase as a rental.

Got a call from Matthew on Saturday as he was entering the new Flix restaurant in Riverbank.  Flix Restaurant was built next to the Galaxy theatre there with the interior decorated to represent movie flicks.  Matt called to tell me that Benjamin is lifesize on a mural as you enter the restaurant.  It is a blown up photo of his class as they are seated in the movie theatre making excited faces. Upon telling Benjamin he told me that some other people had already told him about the picture being there.  His 5th grade teacher Mrs. Arnold and her husband own this restaurant so last spring they took the kids on a field trip to the movie theatre and then on to the restaurant for a tour and lunch. Naturally, I had to go over there to see for myself so Benjamin and I went over there on Saturday evening for dinner while grandpa was at a banquet.  Of course I had to take a photo of the photo and then a photo of Ben next to his photo.  Incidentally, the Arnolds who own the restaurant were friends of Scott and Laci Peterson.  (NOT ANYMORE)

I'm off to Heidi's home tomorrow to help her with the 3 little girls for 4 days while Ted is off on a business trip in Colorado.  She says that nursing the baby and getting the girls to all their activities is a bit challenging at times.  Ted working out of the home can lend a hand at times. (not with the nursing)

Court TV is spending the whole day on the Scott Peterson Trial. We are getting down to the wire on that one.   I did miss hearing about the trial while on the cruise.  Apparently they were in Modesto today questioning the neighbors on Covena Ave.  They are going to show that this evening.   Maybe I will spot Mike or Jana in the neighborhood.

Off to hear Nancy Grace!!!!
