Uncle Ernie's Going "Back" to Surgery
Hello All,
Well, Dad's going in for a second back surgery tomorrow (Thursday) at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco. Doctor Hsu (pronounced "shoe"), whose patient list includes Joe Montana, will be wielding the knife. It's set for 10 a.m. and will last about three hours. He'll be staying in ICU through Friday and his overall stay will be 6-7 days.
Dad is looking forward to the relief he should feel from the pain he endures in his legs, and somewhat in his back. We are all hopeful it will be a success.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers for a successful surgery and a complete recovery for Dad, and for his loving caregiver, Mom!
