Welcome back Scheubernews!

So glad to see some Scheuber news again.  We are keeping Ernie in our thoughts and prayers as he furthers his journey to seek relief for the pain he has endured for some time now.  He and MJane stopped by VSI to take care of some business as they were heading out to the big city by the bay.  I tried to post a message some short time after Marge's foot surgery but it didn't go through.  Wishing Marge a thorough recovery.  Looking forward to seeing her run around the track at the Relay for Life.

John and I were thrilled to have been treated now for about the 4th time to attend the Pro Am golf tournament at Pebble Beach.  We were fortunate to have a breakfast and dinner table on the club deck overlooking the 18th hole, especially since it rained part of the day. Seeing Kevin Costner, Andy Garcia made my day.  Sorry Clint wasn't there. Heard several spectators fire Donald Trump.  Leaving Pebble  we drove to Castroville so that John (dear husband that he is) could use his photography skills to snap some photos of the grave sites of my long lost ancestors to add to my genealogy collection.  Spent the eveing having a lovely Italian dinner at the end of the Pier in Santa Cruz.

Tomorrow I head for Rocklin to care for my darling Rocklin granddaughters. Maybe they won't be darlings after a week with them.  Mommy and Daddy are heading for Puerta V. Mexico.
Grandpa has his annual trade show this weekend at VSI.  He is also caring for Benjamin. It will be a blast for Ben since VSI provides a shuttle bus each day to and from Boomers and treats the children to an all day pass.

Off to take Ben out to dinner to celebrate his 13th birthday ( which is really on Saturday)  He wants to go to that Greek restaurant Papa Pavios.  Leave it to Ben to want to try something different.
Signing off.
