Beautiful Smile

Wow!   Beautiful smile, beautiful young lady!  How great that Lauren and her friend Lizzy were able to fly to Sacramento, visit Mike, Ashlee, and Kenzee and off to Grandma and Grandpa's house!!  Bet that was fun!!

NEWS:   MY SISTER IS:

On Aug. 12, we celebrated my sister's 65Th birthday with a surprise party held at the Eagles Hall.  It was a great celebration with Olsen/Stowers family and friends(about 70 people)  First time we have had 3 generations of Olsen clan together at one time (aside from family funerals) for many years.  Of course it was picture time for all the cousins:  My cousins and one uncle still living, Scheuber/Stowers cousins ,and 3rd generation of  Ann's and my grand kids.  That was a chore getting 15 kids to stand still together for a picture. Especially the 2 yr olds. Missing that day were Ben, Matt and Zac. They missed out on a grand time!

Max hired a DJ and all 3 generations got out and danced.  Even Callie, Riley and Taylor were rock and rolling to the beat of the 50's  60's music. Since Haley and Sydney were going home with Aunt Sandi, they wanted to leave early, but that all changed when the music started.  Hayley said, "Grandma, this is my kind of music!"  The Eagles Hall is one of only a few dance floors around that spring up and down when you dance.  The kids loved that!   This hall was quite popular during prohibition.  On a wall inside  there is a  newspaper article and  pictures of the tunnels that led out of the hall underground to escape from the police. The bar is in the center of the hall which can be completely closed off as to conceal it from the rest of the hall rooms. It is like going back in time when you step in as you are immediately in front of the old-fashioned coat check in closet.   Course I wasn't alive during prohibition!!  olemarge
