Barmettler Birthday Party

Thank you for sharing photos of the Barmettler birthday party.  I showed them to my dad, Fred Christen, this past weekend and he enjoyed seeing Margrit and Sepp.  He remembers Margrit and her sister and brothers from when he was a child in Ennetmoos, Stans.

We so thoroughly enjoyed "seeing" everyone again and reliving our wonderful summer there with all of you.  Please give everyone our best and especially to the Celebrated Pair who look so fantastic on those milestone dates.  I guess that those Great Swiss Genes really do come through in all of you ! !

Sundial Bridge in Redding CA

 
We returned from a trip to Redding CA on Saturday where John was on MJC Ag. trip and I went along to do genealogy on a Great Aunt who was postmistress of a mining town and her husband owned a store.  Unfortunately found out that that town (Copper City) is buried under Shasta Lake. We walked across this amazing bridge which was icy at the time. Also rode the McCloud Sunset Dinner Train at the base of Mt. Shasta while enjoying conversing and dining with the college ag. teachers who attended the meetings.
