Check out this video via Ben to see a quick view of the Scheuber site & a few Scheubers cheering on the survivors as they walk around the track. (Geoff supporting his mom, Auntie Marge as they walk hand in hand- a toucing sight) After the doves are released, you can soon catch a glimpse of the Swiss flag and the sign " Ringing in a Cure" Then the camera closes in on some of us as we are clapping for the survivors. If you blink, you will miss it.
We had a great weekend spending time with family and friends near and far while earning money for a cure. Thanks to all who participated: Sarah for spending months ahead working on the Relay committee, Leo and John, the early birds who set up the site each year, the fund raisers ( all of us - Kudos to Sandi for getting 2nd place in the online fund raising- and designing and ordering our Scheuber tee shirts, Cousin Bill who always provides us with bottles of water, Chef Uncle Bill for his always awesome macaroni and Auntie Fran for taking care of our sweet teeth by baking delicious cookies, and the youngest generation for keeping us entertained. I'm sure I have forgotten someone who deserves recognition. olemarge
